Event Description

MILAGROS: Portal Culture is combination art performance, art installation, and community project.

On June 26th, the artist collective MILAGROS Project will begin constructing installations and presenting community workshops.  In addition to the visual elements, there will be performance, music, and participatory arts.  Visitors are encouraged to drop in as the installation is being built during gallery hours (12-5 PM).

Thursday, 6/28, there will be an opening ceremony with a performance by musicians from Elestial Sounds Records at 7 p.m.

Friday, 6/29, there will be an Artist’s Lecture & Presentation at 1 p.m.

The installation remains on exhibit through July 27th at Miami Dade College’s Freedom Tower in downtown Miami.
