Event Description

What about me? is the project of band/filmmaking duo Jamie Catto andDuncan Bridgeman, who perform under the moniker 1 Giant Leap. In 2009, the two set out with a couple of pre-composed tracks, then set out to traverse the 5 continents.  They met, and collaborated with musicians from around the world.  Here’s the short list: Lila Downs, Alanis Morissette, KD Lang, Bedouin Musicians, Chinese rappers, Gabonese Pygmies, Tuvan throat singers, Egyptian folk musicians, and Japanese taiko drummers.

Along the way, the duo explores what they call “our collective insanity”–obsession with status, wealth, and egotism.
