Cuci Amador and Tony Smurphiio, also known as Afrobeta, are celebrating the release of their new single (”Do You Party?”), and the duo has invited an eclectic mix of DJs to spice up their performance. The list includes Panic Bomber, Run Sevim Run, DJPJ and Moshe of Nightdrive, Nate Campbell and NYC’s Vida.
“After 2006, Afrobeta’s chronology becomes hectic. In 2007 they perform a slew of epic, outrageous live shows throughout Miami, garnering a Miami New Times Reader’s Poll Best Electronic Artist award in their first year together. In 2008 they are named Miami New Times’ Best Local Songwriters; they win a MySpace Latino sponsorship, landing a slot at the Unsigned Artists Showcase at the Latin Alternative Music Conference; and Cuci sings and co-writes on the Calle 13 single “Electro Movimiento” (and also guest-stars in its music video).” – From Afrobeta’s MySpace
